About the Role The Slot Attendant to is responsible for handling routine slot machine-related customer complaints and identifying situations that may require supervisor intervention. Position Responsibilities Services minor machine malfunctions, preventative/routine maintenance, accurate preparation and completion of jackpot transactions, and communicating pertinent information to various support Departments Maintains confidentiality of all Ocean Casino Resort trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information Must follow all company/property Department policies and procedures as well as comply with existing CCC and DGE rules and regulations Technical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, issuance of checks for hand paid jackpots, verifying jackpot transactions, preparing appropriate documentation for jackpots and cash transactions in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Oversees the issuance of work tools, keys to gaming assets and maintains the integrity of all gaming activities Responsible for maintaining control of keys, slot data card, and all equipment needed to perform normal job duties Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs What’s Required High School diploma or equivalent Experience preferred, but not required The ability to effectively communicate in English Benefits Free meal on shift Training & Development Paid Time Off Free Parking Pay Rate: $12.00/hr

About the Role The Sportsbook Ticket Writer is responsible providing excellent customer service by accepting wagers for various sports events and verifying and cashing winning sport book tickets. Position Responsibilities Accurately input patron wager requests into the sports wagering system Manage a cash drawer for accepting sports wagers and paying out winning tickets Maintain an appropriate understanding of popular wagers, odds, and bet types for various sporting events. Stay apprised of major leagues, teams and player news. Our servers run their own food and keep their tables neat and tidy. We need someone who can be in charge of the floor on their own, but also can work well alongside other team members. Our shifts are solo shifts; hosting, serving, running, and bussing. All the dishes at Baba's are made to order fresh, once you learn about our menu you will be expected to try our food and sell it to the customers. We have confidence in our food and so should our servers, you should be ready to build checks and sell dishes.
