Job Summary The Floor Care Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (including scrubbing, buffing, carpet extraction, vacuuming, etc.). The Floor Care Technician provides superior cleaning services onsite at Carlson client locations under limited supervision and works in a collaborative relationship with other Carlson Building Maintenance team members. The Floor Care Technician is a representative of Carlson and interacts with customers, store personnel and the public in a respectful and friendly manner. Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts. Prepare adhoc financial analysis, as requested. Assist Management and the Strategic Operations team in developing the 5-year financial plan and quarterly forecast updates. Work with team to establish accounting best practices and process improvements. Work closely with the Shared Services team to ensure that all transactions are recorded and all financial information is presented in accordance with US GAAP. Partner with the Project Controls and Project Management teams to analyze and report on project performance. Provide feedback to the Estimating team on financial assumptions used to develop estimates for project bids. Complete project financial checklists and project cash forecast for use in Management bid review meetings. Prepare analysis for vendor financial evaluations. Monitor compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act across multiple projects. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA preferred but not required. 1-2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or public accounting. Project and percent complete accounting preferred but not required. Technical knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Deltek CostPoint, PowerBI, Power Query and InEight or equivalent systems preferred but not required Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
