2002 VW Camper van with the 24 valve version of the VR6 engine, auto transmission, upgraded wheels from a Passat, 235/60R16 Yokohama Geolandars, electric pop top, NorCold fridge, two burner gas stove, power sink, two full size beds (sleeps four easily), lots of storage closets, cubbies, and drawers, swiveling front seats, a removable and reversible second row single seat (so it seats five, not four like every other EVC out there) and a built in gas furnace for camping down to 20 degrees. It also has a 1.5" lift kit by a company called CaveVan installed along with rear Bilstein shocks. This means it is a little bit more capable on a trail than the average Eurovan. This van runs and drives very very well, has the coldest AC of any car I have ever had, and cruises down the highway at 75 mph flawlessly. I've had lots of maintenance and repairs done to keep it healthy. The steering and suspension are tight, the brakes (pads and rotors) are newer and perfect, it has never overheated, and the transmission shifts smooth. I've used it for roadtrips, camping, hauling kids around, as moving truck, and a lumber hauler. It's a really fun and versatile van, we just aren't using it much anymore. I just took it to my mechanic to fix a stuck power window, and while it was there we inspected everything else as well in prep for selling it. All is well, except a tiny leak in a power steering hose. The van does have a few quirks (get in touch, happy to tell you more), but is ready for its next owner. Drive it home, drive it anywhere.
