Telecommunications Technician / CO Engineer – Contract 💲 Up to $300/day | Travel & Expenses Covered | Immediate Start We’re hiring experienced Telecom Technicians / Central Office Engineers to help retire legacy PSTN switching systems across multiple Central U.S. sites. What You’ll Do: MDF/DDF wiring, jumpers, and terminations (soldering & IDC) Circuit testing and provisioning before cutover Install/test 2 Mb coax circuits Remove obsolete cabling & hardware Follow wiring diagrams & safety standards Travel to CO sites in MO, KS, NE, IA, OK, AR, SD, ND What You Bring: 2+ years with MDF/DDF work Skilled in soldering, IDC terminations, and coax testing Knowledge of PSTN networks & legacy switches (Lucent 5ESS, Nortel DMS-100, Siemens EWSD) Able to travel extensively Details: Contract role – competitive day rate All travel & expenses paid Start ASAP – Onsite across Central U.S.
