Ops is a natural wine and pizza restaurant located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We are opening a new location in the East Village. We are currently looking for full or part-time line cooks and prep cooks to fill out our team. In this position you will learn every aspect of what we do, including baking bread and making pizza, and prepping ingredients for all of our dishes. Schedule is generally flexible, but weekend availability is a must. Pizza experience is not required. Dough or sourdough experience is a plus, but not a necessity. We believe anything can be trained for someone with the right attitude, basic kitchen skill set, and a continuous learning mindset. Experienced grill cook needed for a small restaurant in Downtown Manhattan. The cook will be responsible for working the grill during dinner service, cooking meats (especially beef cuts), so at least one year of grill experience and proven skill in cooking meats to order are required. Wipe down and reset tables with proper place settings (napkins, cutlery, glassware). Refill water glasses as needed. Assist in pre-bussing during service to keep tables uncluttered. Dining Room & Service Support Keep floors, chairs, and service areas clean and presentable. Carry food trays to and from kitchen when servers need support.
