Desired Experience: Installing wiring, light fixtures, switches, and other electrical components in residential and commercial buildings. Inspecting electrical systems to identify problems with wiring, switches, fuses, and other components. Diagnosing malfunctions in electrical systems by testing components with multimeter or other diagnostic tools. Making repairs to electrical systems using tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, wire strippers and pliers. Troubleshooting problems with electrical systems and making repairs or replacements when necessary.
