Seniors Helping Seniors® Santa Cruz & Gilroy is a new, peer-based in-home care provider, and we’re looking for compassionate, mature adults to join our Santa Cruz team. If you understand the difficulties a family caregiver experiences and want to offer respite, or you’ve just been looking for meaningful and flexible part-time employment, we want to meet you. We provide paid training and will help you through the process of becoming a licensed California home care aide. Working hours are flexible, and based upon your availability. We match you with a compatible older senior who needs your companionship and assistance. Duties are non-medical and may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, driving to appointments, and in some cases assistance with the activities of daily living. It’s possible that you've already had the opportunity to serve an older loved one in one or more of these ways. We want someone like you with great customer service skills, a big heart, and a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
