The Box House Hotel is a boutique hotel that invites guests to enjoy an authentic Brooklyn Experience, featuring spacious lofts with soaring ceilings, unique decor, and kitchenettes. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who: - Possesses a positive and outgoing demeanor - Is a team player & a self-starter - Is dependable & reliable. - Is highly organized, detail oriented - Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. - Is professional and exerts high ethical standards at all times - Is confident and able to think on his/her feet Responsibilities include: - Greeting & socializing with guests upon arrival & in passing - Navigating guests around the local area, invoke discovery with recommendations for shopping, sight-seeing etc. - Professionally & politely answering questions & responding to any guests needs - Communicating internally with other departments when necessary to resolve a guest concern or request. - Resolving guest challenges and taking appropriate action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. - Processing payments according to procedures. - Assisting guests with reservations, checking guests in and out upon arrival and departure. - Administrative tasks as needed What we offer: Paid time off Paid vacation Time & a half holidays Hotel discounts Ample opportunity for growth across our ever expanding brand of hotels, events team & restaurants.
