Maintain a professional business appearance at all times by following the dress code for HBW field staff, which consists of HBW Shirt, khaki pants, work boots, and any personal protective equipment (PPE) required while also maintaining good personal hygiene. Create and maintain a team environment with all stakeholders on the project including, but not limited to owners, clients, suppliers, building management, building engineers, tenants, and Property Managers. Schedule day-to-day efforts among various trade subcontractors by understanding how each trade's scope of work fits into the sequence of activities. Work with HBW Project Managers, third party inspectors, owner's representatives, and building engineers to ensure work is completed on time and on schedule. Work with the trades to plan the project out and use milestones to evaluate the progress of the project. Identify areas where schedule efficiencies can be gained and adjust to conflicts. Create and maintain a Two Week Look Ahead schedule for Project Manager. Coordinate the work of all trades and subcontractors. From this, areas of conflict and areas where trades can work together will be identified to ensure that all details are included in the work. Schedule and obtain all required inspections and ensure necessary permits are in place for the work. Track all materials and equipment from submission of submittals to site delivery. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on schedule, and 100% ready for client move-in. Quality Control An HBW Construction superintendent is responsible for ensuring that the project is built in accordance with the contract documents and to the highest level of quality possible. To facilitate this the superintendent will: Review and understand all contract documents such as the Plans, Specifications, Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASI), Bulletins, Architect's Supplement Sketches (ASK), Addendums, etc. Ensure that all craftsmanship is at the highest level possible and identify items that need to be reworked. The superintendent will track all quality deficiencies items until they are properly complete. International travel is anticipated for approximately 50% of the time once the company starts to build momentum. The Opportunity Atmospheric methane is responsible for >30% of the warming we are experiencing today, and levels are rising rapidly. Well over 60% of the world’s municipal solid waste goes to landfills and dumps that do not employ effective methane emissions mitigation measures. As a result these sites emit over 50 teragrams (Tg) of methane per year which is equivalent to more than a Gt of CO2 every year. Our company will turn the tide of methane emissions, decreasing peak temperatures in the process. We do this by targeting diffuse methane emissions from solid waste sites with innovative abatement and measurement measures. Our Approach We are focusing on currently unmitigated methane emissions from solid waste sites around the world with technologies that oxidize diffuse gas flows. The technologies we are adapting and deploying leverage the methane oxidation capabilities of methanotrophic bacteria, as opposed to the thermal oxidation approaches used by landfill gas capture and flaring approaches. Our focus is to make methane abatement and measurement technologies more robust and cost-efficient so they can be deployed rapidly at scales that impact climate in a meaningful way. USFS was founded in 2010 and provides financial management, acquisition management, program management, and data analytic support services to federal and state governments. Position Overview: As a Operations Research Systems Analyst at USFS, you will be a key member of a team supporting the US Army. The role focuses on demonstrated experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop, and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations. . Key Responsibilities: Develop study plans, perform analysis for which precedents are minimal, document approach and findings, and brief senior leaders on recommendation. Shall conduct data collection and apply innovative analytical techniques. Analysis will include areas of Army science and technology objectives, Capability Based Assessments (CBA’s) and risk management, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA’s), Army costs and benefits, and shall frame analysis issues, review policy and procedures and review the conduct of materiel affordability and investment analyses. Generate ideas for studies and approaches in one or more subject areas. Review, analyze, and provide recommendations pertaining to the modeling and simulation analytical tools and efforts. Shall assess a full range of plans and programs within the JCIDS process to include strategic direction, concepts and doctrine, force development, force modernization, materiel requirements, and force readiness. Candidate will extract and analyze data from various databases and collaborative programs used within the DCS G-8: Army Equipping Enterprise System Modern (AE2S-M) and its key modules to include the), Army Flow Model (AFM), Equip the Force (EQ4),), Transparency Workbooks, and the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) Collaboration Tool, and CAMS. Provide analysis, reviews, and recommendations in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future war fighter requirements to include validation of Army JCIDS documents (Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Abbreviated-Capability Development Document (A-CDD), CDD, and CDD-Update) in support of the AROC or JROCprocess. Experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop, and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations. Demonstrate knowledge and experience in identifying and solving real-world problems in areas such as capital investment, decision analysis supporting a business unit, system design and engineering, linear and non-linear programming, and trend/predictive analysis. Ability to collect and organize information from a variety of sources, such as computer databases, sales histories, and customer feedback. Conduct and interpret survey data from workers involved in all aspects of a problem or from others who have specialized knowledge, so that they can help solve the problem. Develop a comprehensive annual funding strategy for assigned systems using established program requirements and approved facts and assumptions with regards to funding levels, and present the strategy to leadership for approval. The funding strategy will include an investment strategy that prioritizes Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and procurement funding levels in support of approved force requirements. Requirements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (Systems or Industrial), or Computer Science. Masters Degree highly preferred. Experience: 4 years of relevant professional experience supporting the most senior levels of the US Army.
