We are looking for a Retail Stylist to help our clients select fashionable outfits and ensure they leave our store satisfied. Our stylists will help us maintain our good reputation among existing customers and help further grow our clientele through a positive and engaging customer experience. Retail Stylists support the team and leadership by creating a warm and delightful environment for every customer that walks through the door. Our ideal candidate has natural warmth, self-drive, and is focused on creating an exceptional customer experience. Our stylists drive sales through down-home service by creating an environment where every customer feels immediately at ease. Retail Stylist responsibilities include providing one-on-one customer service, recommending fashionable items and creating complete looks that excite our customers. We also expect our stylists to be team players, sharing product knowledge, fit information, and supporting the team by being able to jump into any task that supports the business. We have 1 part-time position available. 2-4 days per week (10-25 hours) with required Thursday through Sunday availability KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Build genuine and lasting relationships with customers • Balancing individualized customer service with tasking and helping others • Determine the customer's needs and go out of your way to fulfill them through product suggestions or alternatives • Create complete looks from head to toe to match clients’ style • Make a positive final impression at point of sale • Ensure that your team is supported and that all tasks are being completed in a timely manner, without losing focus on customer service • Practice proper phone etiquette • Help to maintain organization, cleanliness, and restock store inventory • Ensure the highest level of customer service, in line with our company's values, morals, and policies EXPECTATIONS: • Possess natural warmth and enthusiasm • Communicate effectively and confidently • Ability to create positive energy and be the life of the party • Meet and exceed sales goals through exceptional customer service • Willingness to go above and beyond for customers and your teammates when needed • Flexibility and eagerness to grow with change • The ability to multi-task by balancing customer service with tasking • Offer personalized styling tips • Pick and recommend shoes and accessories that complement clients’ outfits • Provide product details, including fabrics and wash care instructions • Suggest alternative outfits and colors to create unique looks • Ensure proper product presentation and stock replenishment • Remember loyal customers’ names, sizes and preferences and maintain friendly relationships QUALIFICATIONS • 1-3 years retail experience, preferably in women's fashion or education equivalent. • Available when we are busy, including: nights, weekends, and holidays • Must be able to lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds • Must be able to stand continuously for 6-8 hour shifts If you meet these qualifications please forward your resume along to Ellie Steinmetz with a cover letter telling us about yourself and your availability.
