This is a 1099 contract role for an experienced drywall and general home repair professional who takes pride in clean work, jobsite prep, and homeowner satisfaction. Position Overview Job Type: 1099 Contract Location: On-site – Clarksville, TN + surrounding areas Wage: $20.00 – $35.00/hour (based on skill and scope) Schedule: Project-based, flexible day-to-day Key Responsibilities Install, patch, repair, and texture-match drywall in residential settings Perform rough and finish carpentry, including trim and framing touch-ups Execute interior painting and surface prep with clean finishes Communicate with homeowners, provide updates, and set expectations Transport materials to job sites, including full drywall sheets Maintain a clean, organized job site before and after every project Requirements 5+ years of experience in drywall or handyman work Proven expertise in drywall repair, carpentry, and interior painting Comfortable working directly with homeowners Own a smartphone for communication and scheduling Own reliable work vehicle capable of transporting drywall Willing to travel up to 1–1.5 hours for jobs Willing to complete a background check Must be able to prep and clean up all job sites Legally able to work as a 1099 contractor Benefits Transparent job details and communication Performance-based rate reviews Steady work volume with scheduling flexibility

St. Mary's Food Bank is currently seeking a HVAC/Facilities Maintenance Technician with Certifications along with facility maintenance basic knowledge. The HVAC/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This position assists the Facilities team with general maintenance, repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, preventive maintenance and grounds keeping for all St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Campuses. Hiring for the following shift: Tuesday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm and Saturday - 6am - 2:30pm (Sunday and Monday Off) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain, upkeep and repair of the property and grounds. Periodic inspections of all units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs as needed. Event set ups and tear downs. Completing work order requests promptly and according to company policy.
