Acquisitions made, including the hiring of Frank Cashen to build the team, the drafting of Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry, and the additions of Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez are included. This history is reminisced through the comments of players, writers, personnel, and wives. The political and social climates of that time is mentioned, especially how they influenced the self-indulgent behavior of the players. There are many photos. This book is hardcover.
