Cove Realty is looking for a reliable, motivated person to fill the position of Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager for Long-Term Outer Banks rentals (rentals with yearly leases). A North Carolina Real Estate License is not required at the time of hiring but ability to pursue licensure is required to ultimately take the position of Long-Term Property Manager. Basic computer skills are a must, as our system is entirely computer-based. Job duties include, but are not limited to office tasks, problem-solving, answering phones, taking reservations, filing, screening potential tenants, assisting the Property Manager, inspecting long-term rentals, and so forth. This position is for a team of 2 people; one to conduct office work, show available apartments to prospective applicants, schedule service requests and subs, accept and deposit receipts, etc. The other party will complete service requests, perform turn duties, service pool, attend to grounds and common areas, advise main office regarding general condition of property, etc. Office hours are M, T, W, F 9-6; Sat 10-4. Successful candidates will share a 2bdrm/2ba apartment with attached (but separate) office, and receive wages. MUST have prior California tenant/landlord experience, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, follow directions, policies, and procedures as determined by Main Office, etc. Spanish a plus.
