Description

In this entry-level environmental services position, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms and other facility common areas. You’ll help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for people who live, work and visit CHCC. Skills: •Have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents. •Be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner. •Able to troubleshoot and do minor problem-solving. •Have knowledge of janitorial equipment and supplies. •Comply with all facility policies and procedures. Home Health Aide for ALS Patient ($18/hr) (Strongsville, oh)
Job description: Hi, I'm a 40-year-old ALS patient who needs a caregiver and assistant 6 days a week. I've lost movement in both of my arms; my legs are strong but stiff so I can walk short distances with assistance; and my speech and swallowing muscles are also weakened so I receive most of my meals through a feeding tube. I need someone who can help with daily grooming as well as an assistant who can make calls on my behalf or help me run errands. Finally, I still love to travel, and I do so with the help of my caregivers. (After we've spent some time together.) We've traveled to Chile, Argentina, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Mexico, and Amsterdam in the past. Salary and expenses are paid to accompany me on trips. (Note: I only take my most organized and attentive caregivers on trips.)
