In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy through the application of physics principles and techniques. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment, developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists, and providing expert guidance on radiation safety protocols. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Perform routine quality assurance measurements and evaluations on radiation therapy equipment. Participate in education and training of staff, residents, and students in medical physics topics. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Physics, or a closely related field. 2 years plus experience is ideal. Board certification in Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent. Active and unrestricted license or credentialing to practice in the applicable state. Strong knowledge of radiation therapy physics and dosimetry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. U.S. Citizenship required.
