Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist MD to join our exceptional team of healthcare professionals at a well-known hospital facility in Clarksburg, WV. In this important role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, managing their treatment and coordinating with specialists to ensure optimal recovery. Your responsibilities will include conducting daily rounds, performing patient assessments, establishing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with nursing and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality care. This position requires board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with an active medical license. U.S. Citizenship is also required. The Hospitalist role includes a full-time schedule with shift-based coverage to ensure continuity of care. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Perform daily rounds on hospitalized patients, assessing their progress and treatment plans. Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with specialists and healthcare teams. Manage a wide range of medical conditions, making timely decisions for patient care. Ensure thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient safety and care standards. Minimum Requirements: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active medical license to practice in the applicable state. Strong clinical skills with a focus on inpatient care and patient-centered approaches. Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities. Years of Experience Required: Must have experience in internal medicine/hospital medicine, with demonstrated clinical competence. Certifications / Education Required: Medical Doctor (MD/DO) with full, unrestricted state medical license (any U.S. state). DEA Registration (copy of current DEA certificate required). Must obtain National Provider Identifier (NPI). Up-to-date CME/CEU requirements. Immunizations: TB test, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, annual Influenza, Hep B, plus compliance with OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards. Type of Experience Needed: Direct inpatient hospital care (admissions, treatment, discharge, consultations). Critical/acute care, including running code teams and rapid response teams.
