We are looking for Part-Time in Spokane and Spokane Valley; Saturday doubles 7 am to 11 pm. Pay starts at $18.00 an hour. Some of the duties will be Dr Appointments, Grocery Shopping, Enrichment Activities, Light House Cleaning, Cooking and Assisting with medications etc. Applicants must be: Self-Starting Be looking for long term employment. Be able to pass a criminal background clearance-some exceptions exist, depending on circumstances or type of charge. Windhorse Integrative Mental Health, a small non-profit founded in 1993, is seeking a housemate to live with one of our female clients in a 2 bedroom apt in Portland, OR. Windhorse is a semi-residential therapeutic community that uses a mindfulness and relationship-based philosophy in working with individuals experiencing health issues such as depression, psychosis and trauma. General Job Description: A housemate’s role is to co-habitate in a two-bedroom apartment with a client and spend around three hours per day together sharing a meal, going on a walk, being in conversation, etc. Housemates may be in school or have a part time day job outside the home of up to 25 hours per week, as long as it does not interfere with the weekly meeting schedule. A generous level of support and training is offered by our senior staff for this position—it is a great opportunity for those who feel an affinity toward psychology, counseling or social work and would like to gain direct experience in the field.
