Dental Hygienist - FULL OR PART TIME (Boise)

Job Overview: Well established practice in the North End of Boise seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and infection control practices while ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. Duties: - Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. - Review and maintain accurate medical records and documentation. - Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. - Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols within the clinic. - Operate Dentrix dental software for scheduling and patient management. Skills: - Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education. - Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred. - Proficient in documentation review and maintaining accurate medical records. - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control measures. - Experience with Dentrix software is a plus. We are a small, well established family practice in the North End of Boise looking for someone to join our team! Pay based on experience. Office hours are Monday-Thursday.
