Seeking FEMALE, Live-in CAREgiver for dementia patient. Long term commitment: 12-month min commitment East Glenview. FLAT RATE PAY. NO HOURLY. NO SPLIT SHIFT. WEEK DAYS Monday- Friday: (Weekends off). $5000/mo OR 7-Days: $7500/mo. Paid weekly via electricity Zelle. Our mom is 85. She walks, talks and sleeps VERY well but she needs help walking as she is a fall risk and she needs help with bathing and the toilet keeping sanitary and changing her pads and depends underwear, meals, light housekeeping, companionship. REQUIREMENTS: - SPEAK ENGLISH WELL: Patient needs conversation and companionship. She likes to talk. NO TRANSLATOR APPS. - REFERENCES: Must provide recent VERIFIABLE references with proof of payment from your reference… if you have been fired from a caregiving job please do not apply. We do a VERY thorough screening and background check. - BE PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY in good shape. Must be able to help patient in and out of bed and to toilet. This requires some strength. If you’re overweight and have a bad back this will not work. - BATHING& TOILET: showering patient, and assisting with toilet ( changing adult diapers, pads etc…. - HOUSEKEEPING: You must be a clean and organized person. clean bathroom, vacuum, dishes, laundry, kitchen counters etc… - MEALS: must be able to cook basic, tasty meals: salad, hamburgers, pasta, vegetables, sandwiches, eggs toasts bacon…. - MEDICATIONS & VITAMINS: - COMPANIONSHIP: take her for walks to the forest or park in her wheelchair when weather is nice.
