Job Title: EHR Implementation & Medical Billing Specialist We are in the process of upgrading to a more comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to better serve our patients and streamline our operations. As part of this transition, we are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to assist with the implementation and take ownership of key billing and authorization processes post-launch. Position Summary: This role will play a critical part in the successful implementation of our new EHR system. Post-implementation, the position will be responsible for: • Preparing and submitting claims to our billing company. • Managing medical accounts receivable. • Navigating complex prior authorization systems, particularly for VA, Tricare, and Aetna. • Handling non-network authorizations and approvals for medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors during the EHR migration and implementation process. • Ensure accurate and timely claim preparation and submission. • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable. • Confidently manage prior authorization workflows, including documentation and communication with payers. • Maintain compliance with payer-specific requirements and regulations. • Serve as a subject matter expert on VA/Tricare billing and authorization processes. Required Qualifications: • Proven experience with EHR implementation or migration. • Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices. • Demonstrated expertise in VA, Tricare, and Aetna prior authorization systems. • Experience with non-network authorizations and approvals for medical equipment. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
