Assisted Living DSP -Live in Position /Housing & Meals provided! (Triangle, VA)

Job description Duties: - Provide in-home care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities - Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual - Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals Qualifications: - First aid and CPR certification - Experience in caregiving or a related field, such as nursing home or assisted living facility - Knowledge of basic medical procedures and protocols - Ability to manage challenging behaviors and provide behavior management techniques - Familiarity with resident rights and regulations regarding patient care - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
