Dental Front Desk Admin Position: Location: Indian Head, MD Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a patient-centered dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager to lead our administrative team and ensure smooth, efficient daily operations. Position Overview: We are seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and is critical to ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner. Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and courteously. Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments. Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and accurately enter insurance information. Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and balances. Maintain accurate and organized patient records. Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors to ensure smooth patient flow. Prepare daily reports, reconcile payments, and assist with billing tasks. Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in office administration or healthcare preferred. Previous experience in a dental or medical front office strongly preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures a plus. Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. General Job Description: A housemate’s role is to co-habitate in a two-bedroom apartment with a client and spend around three hours per day together sharing a meal, going on a walk, being in conversation, etc. Housemates may be in school or have a part time day job outside the home of up to 25 hours per week, as long as it does not interfere with the weekly meeting schedule.
