Caregiver for a 21 yer old special needs girl on Saturdays and Sundays 8AM-4PM and/or Wednesday afternoons 11AM- 3PM. Good for students who are over 18. This is a permanent position and job, you must pass a background check, apply with an agency (Thrive Services) and be able to dress, groom, change diapers, assist with mobility, feed and accompany her on occasional outings. She walks with assistance and uses a wheel chair. Experience is helpful but not needed. All training will be provided at $18 per hour. This sweet young lady has no behavior issues. Insurance eligible, bonuses for perfect attendance and the ability to get extra hours if desired.

Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct Behavioral and Care assessments in the patient’s home or in alternate plan approved settings Assessments are face to face visits ONLY Assessment containing basic questions on IADL Mobility, Nutrition, and Environment Identify all active and chronic disease conditions as well as determine all physical, mental, and social needs present at the time of the visit Educate and counsel patient and family on any conditions identified during assessment Develop and implement the service plan as applicable and regularly reassesses the needs of the client. Observe and report symptoms, reaction to treatments, drugs, and changes in the patient’s physical or emotional condition. Initiate preventative procedures as appropriate for the patient’s care and safety and effecting changes in environment to ensure patient safety and security. Maintain clinical and progress notes for each patient receiving care and providing progress reports to their physician. Coordinate services for patients as needed to other agencies and health care providers as appropriate. Counsel the patient and their family in meeting nursing and related needs.
