Description

Caring for 85 year old female , she can walk , has a walker and some mobility issues. Aide would need to hygenically thouroughly clean patient , light house keeping light meal prep. Other than help with her personal hygiene , basically just companioning. This potential p/t position will be Mon & Thurs approx 10 am-2 p.m. and possibly more days and or hours in the future ? This is private pay 20.00 per hour to start.

These positions work as members of direct care teams serving adults with serious mental illness. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, keeping accurate clinical documentation, providing housekeeping and meal preparation, and administering medication. If you have experience working as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client with behavioral health needs, then any of these positions may be a good fit for you! **Vocational Training Program** For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for qualified employees to achieve the 1000 supervised hours required to complete their certification as a QMHA-I. Through this program, this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This is an optional program. Work Schedules: Day/Swing/Night shifts, up to Full Time (TBD in application) ***What You’ll Make*** $20.00 - $22.00 per hour starting wage, DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.
