Interested in joining Other Half Brewing? We are hiring a Porter for 3 of our NY locations. The Porter’s priority is to maintain a clean and safe taproom in accordance with the standards of Other Half Brewing Company. Essential Functions: Wipe down bars thoroughly and deep clean, maintain taproom tables and rails with oil, check underside of surfaces as well Clean and maintain bathrooms - cleaning toilets, mopping floors, wiping down mirrors and stalls, light dusting and refilling soap and sanitizers. Clean bathroom walls and remove markings and graffiti as necessary Clean behind bar - floors swept and mopped, surfaces for glass and bar mats cleaned as well and mats and shelves.. Spray down and clean floor mats each visit Power wash floors on a biweekly basis Mop walk in floor on a monthly basis Deep clean sinks, spray taps, walls and baseboards behind and near the bar Clean out trash cans and recycling containers, clean out any other storage containers at each location Thoroughly dust and wipe down all surfaces Maintain cleanliness for glass doors and entrances and exits in the spaces, vacuuming rugs in vestibules. Communicate with managers any necessary repairs Qualifications: Previous porter experience is required A high school degree or GED is preferred Willingness to travel across our NYC locations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced setting Ability to follow instructions with an upbeat attitude Strong teamwork skills The base pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
