Manhattan natural wine shop hiring an assistant manager to help with operations and buying. We're a small team where everyone pitches in, so this would require normal retail duties as well, such as ringing up customers, selling wine, stocking, cleaning, etc. In addition to the retail duties, we'd like to find someone who wants to help buy wine in coordination with the owner. You'd focus on a lot of the more fun elements like working with the smaller natural importers. But this is not solely a buyer position. Must help work on wine club, web listings, social media, etc. Must have retail wine shop experience or restaurant sommelier background.
