Robust Coffee Lounge, a beloved local spot known for our fresh, creative dishes and warm atmosphere, is seeking a skilled and reliable **Line Cook** to join our kitchen team! We’re a busy café with a loyal customer base, serving up delicious breakfast and lunch options daily. **What You’ll Do:** - Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following recipes and presentation standards - Work efficiently during high-volume periods to ensure timely service - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines - Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment **What We’re Looking For:** - At least 1-2 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen (café or restaurant experience a plus) - Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment - Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy rushes - A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills - Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and smaller holidays (café hours are 7am - 3pm daily). - A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen **What We Offer:** - Competitive hourly wage $20-$25/hr including tips - Opportunities for growth within our team - A supportive and fun work environment with a close-knit crew - Staff discounts on meals and drinks **How to Apply:** If you’re ready to bring your culinary skills to Robust Coffee Lounge, we’d love to hear from you!
