Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. • Maintain food quality and consistency in line with company standards. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. • Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative, efficient team. • Manage inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages. • Monitor waste and implement cost-saving measures to reduce overproduction. • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. • Promptly and professionally address guest concerns about food quality or preparation. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the hospitality or entertainment industry. • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards. • Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a theater that operates 365 days a year. • Capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods. • ServSafe certification (or ability to pass Manager ServSafe test). • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation, with the vehicle remaining on-site during shifts. • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Must be able to pass a Background Check. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
