Job Title: Driver (Company Vehicle Provided)  Location: King David Tacos, Prospect Heights, Brooklyn (611 Bergen St) Reports To: Senior Operations / Logistics Team Department: Logistics Compensation:  $24 per hour + tips ($2-$5 additional per hour on average) Schedule / Expectations: 5AM until 10AM-1PM, varies by shift / day; 25-35 hours per week  Pick up vehicles from HQ at Bergen St & Vanderbilt Ave Drive recurring routes as well as catering and events - majority Brooklyn, Manhattan Job Overview: King David Tacos is seeking reliable, punctual Drivers based out of our HQ in Prospect Heights to handle daily transport of our products and equipment, including our mobile cart, located in Prospect Park (Grand Army Plaza). Driver Responsibilities: Product Delivery Inspect and prepare the delivery vehicle before each shift. Load and secure products accurately and safely. Deliver orders on time following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Handle products properly, maintaining correct temperatures and presentation. Provide friendly, professional service to customers upon delivery. Report issues like delays, damaged goods, or vehicle problems promptly. Comply with food safety, hygiene, and traffic regulations at all times. Cart Delivery Safely attach/detach trailer and cart to/from vehicle (existing skill preferred, but we can train) Drive company vehicle with trailer attached (existing skill preferred, but we can train) Load/unload light equipment (e.g., coffee urns) Opportunity for extra afternoon shifts for pickup Qualifications: Valid Driver License and clean driving record Confident operating a vehicle with trailer (including backing up in reverse) Able to lift up to 50–70 lbs and maneuver wheeled carts Excellent time management and reliability Early morning efficiency and punctuality Working Conditions: Standing and Walking | Extended periods spent on your feet, moving between tables, kitchen, and bar areas. Lifting and Carrying | Handling trays of food and drinks, lifting heavy pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Bending and Stooping | Reaching low shelves, cleaning tables, and accessing lower storage areas. Repetitive Motions | Continuous use of hands and arms for tasks such as serving, cooking, and cleaning. Temperature Extremes | Exposure to heat from cooking equipment and crowded spaces, as well as cold from refrigeration and freezer areas. Fast-paced Environment: Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak times while maintaining accuracy and quality. Multi-tasking | Juggling multiple responsibilities, such as taking orders, delivering food, clearing tables, and assisting colleagues. Noise Levels | Working in a noisy environment with background music, kitchen noise, and guest conversations. Hotel: The Hills Inn Eagle Rock Hourly Rate $20.00 Total working days each week: 3 days to start (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) with potential for 5 days based on performance. Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Duties: - The maintenance person installs, repairs, upkeeps, and cleans. - Maintains a positive “CAN DO” attitude all the time. - Performs repairs of HVAC units, electrical, and plumbing as needed. - Responds quickly to service requests from the front desk agents. - Performs general building maintenance tasks as needed: painting, drywall repairs, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, flooring/base repairs, minor carpentry repairs in doors or other furniture. - Cleans the hotel grounds that include parking lot, pool area, guest laundry, elevator, wash the hotel stairs, clean rail guards, clean windows, etc. - Paints assigned areas and patch walls as needed. - Deep Cleans hotel rooms (usually 3 rooms per day) that includes carpet washing, stains removal, moving beds and headboards to vacuum, apply silicon in bathroom/shower areas, treat showerheads to remove calcification, open and clean p-traps under sink to prevent odors, etc. - Inspects buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions. - Reports all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns. - Completes other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned. - Complies with Company policies and procedures. - Completes the list of assigned activities at the end of the shift. - Must be an honest and reliable person.
