Zeffert and Gold Catering, one of Baltimore’s premier off-site catering companies, is seeking a dynamic Catering Sales and Event Manager to join our team. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary contact for clients from inquiry through event execution Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, focusing on weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations Create customized proposals and contracts that align client needs with company offerings Conduct venue site visits, tastings, and planning meetings Collaborate with our culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution Manage event details, including menu planning, rentals, timelines, and logistics Oversee assigned events on-site, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction Contribute to company growth by meeting sales goals and developing new business opportunities What We’re Looking For Proven experience in catering sales, event management, or hospitality (3+ years preferred) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Ability to lead and manage a large event staff to ensure flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills A client-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules Knowledge of Baltimore-area venues is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based incentives (Base salary ranges from $45K-$60K based on experience with overall compensation ranging from $75K-125K per year on average with no cap on commission) Health and retirement benefits Opportunities for professional growth within a respected local company A supportive team environment where your creativity and initiative are valued At Zeffert and Gold, we don’t just serve food—we create experiences that leave lasting impressions.
