Is this a barista job? Do I need barista experience? This position is not just a barista job. But yes, barista experience is required. We make drinks but we do more than that, we create an atmosphere and an environment where our neighborhood guests, our out of town guests and our co-workers feel welcomed and taken care of. You will be expected to give outstanding customer service, make delicious coffee and serve/plate pastry dishes from the kitchen, as well as doing everything that is in between.
