Job Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to run food to guests and manage takeout/3rd party deliveries. Job Requirements Key Skills 1. Organization 2. Anticipation 3. Adhere to sanitation and safety policies 3. Setting up kitchen line for Take-out 4. Stock Take-out supplies 5. Organize jams, ketchups, butter chips, and packaged silverware 6. Check to ensure stamped bags are stocked for service 7. Clean and test each 3rd party tablet 8. Assist expo in delivering 3rd party chits to Barista as soon as they print 9. Assist kitchen team in keeping the kitchen floor free of debris and water spots 10. Run food to tables 11. Return to the kitchen with full hands – always find something to bring back to the kitchen after dropping food 12. Deliver 3rd party food to pick up area 13. Assist kitchen with filling Take- out jam and vanilla sauce 14. Always carry a Shuv–It in your apron 15. After food is delivered, check to see if table needs balancing 16. Before leaving a table, check if guest(s) need anything. If yes, ask for help and resume position. If help is not available, assist guest as best as you can. 17. Assist with keeping tickets organized in kitchen 18. Once table is complete, stab finished ticket 19. Always communicate with the kitchen team 20. Assist in running drinks; refilling caddies, and cleaning ketchup bottle tops at the end of service. 21. Assist with Tabanero refill 22. Restock water bottles 23. Move umbrellas for guest throughout service to provide maximum coverage while eating and remove at closing 24. Break down kitchen line 25. Break down cardboard boxes and stack neatly in assigned area 26. Ensure all dumpster lids are always closed, and area remains clean. 27. Ensure back doors always remain closed 28. Ensure timely rest periods and meal breaks are taken timely 29. Clean break rooms before, during, and after service 30. Inform MOD when stock items are low 31. Always allow guests to have the right of way 32. Always follow safety procedures and protocols including wearing non-slip shoes while on duty Side Work / Running Side Work 1. Maintain Take-out supplies are stocked 2. Clean silverware 3. Disinfecting table caddies 4. Stamp bags 5. Restock glassware and silverware 6. Perform scheduled restroom checks 7. Refill water bottles; sanitizer containers, disinfect containers 8. Sweep and clean debris from floor 9. Wipe down tables and chairs 10. Assist with completing 3rd party delivery orders 11. Run food and drinks Certifications 1. Current California Certified Food Handlers Certificate

POSITION SUMMARY The Pastry Cook will coordinate and assist in the day to day operations of baking and pastry for the Copia Restaurant and Events/Banquets as necessary. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Accurate and expeditious production of recipes with strict adherence to all recipe specifications, ensuring minimal waste during all phases of recipe preparation, production and service. Communicates daily with Pastry Chef, Sous Chefs, Banquet Chef and kitchen team to ensure all food and equipment is available and operational. Maintains organization of reach-in coolers, dry stock with proper storage, including proper packaging, storage and security of all food items at all stages of receipt or preparation with relation to temperature, location, labeling, packaging and all established procedures, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Maintains proper inventory of station pars on prep list and ordering appropriately. Works closely with purchasing to be sure chef s requirements are met or a satisfactory substitution is found. Assists with product needs for conferences, sampling and Enthusiast classes. Submits work orders as needed to Facilities Management for any equipment repairs or special cleaning needs, ensuring products are available at all times. Provides superior customer service to our clients and customers. Assists other team members as needed or directed by Pastry Chef, Sous Chefs, and Banquet Chef. Responsible for production of items for events and banquets. Any and all other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: AOS Baking & Pastry Arts or a combination of education and experience. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of pastry experience and/or an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. Licenses / Certifications: California Food Handler s Certificate, or ability to obtain a certificate within 30 days of hire. REQUIRED SKILLS Demonstrated ability to show a high level of service responsiveness to customers. Experience in volume cookery. Excellent written, and verbal communication skills required. Must display a high level of energy and self-motivation. Demonstrated experience in effective communication that engages guests. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends. Must be able to bend, reach and stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours daily. Must be able to lift and transport a minimum of fifty (50) pounds. Ability to withstand high ambient temperatures while working in close proximity of cooking equipment.
