Cafe Pasqual's is hiring an Evening - Front of House team member. Cafe Pasqual's has been a beloved Santa Fe dining experience for locals and tourists for over 46 years! Qualified candidates should possess prior restaurant, front of house expertise. Bartending experience is a plus. Ideal candidates for this position are warm and pleasant in mannerism and appearance. Hospitality is our passion, and team members should understand and radiate hospitality. Other skill requirements include: being a team player, quick on your feet, able to stand/ walk for five - six hours without a break, able to retain knowledge, are organized, efficient and coachable. Punctuality and professionalism are required attributes of a qualified candidate for this position. Positions Requirements: Hospitality and or Restaurant experience. Current Food Handlers and Alcohol Servers License or ability to obtain within 14 days of employment. Availability to work 3 -4 days a week. Availability to be on call for shifts (scheduled) and weekend availability. Possess the physical ability to work shifts that start at 4PM and go through the close of the restaurant. Averaging between 6 - 8 hours. Ability to go up and down stairs, lift up between 25 & 50 Lbs, walk though tight spaces, and be able to stand for 5 - 6 hours. Position Compensation: Rate of Pay: Cafe Pasqual’s offers competitive pay. FOH staff earn between $30- $45 per /hour. This rate includes hourly pay rate and tips. This is a flexible team environment that is invested in making sure everyone gets vacations. Three (3) weeks of vacation are able to be accrued after one full year of employment. Cafe Pasqual’s offers two weeks of sick pay. Las Cosas Cooking School is looking for a part-time Cooking Class and Kitchen Manager Responsibilities include assisting the Chef with the prepping for, and setting up our hands-on cooking classes. Also responsible for organizing kitchen equipment and ingredient shopping. Skills should include experience assisting in kitchens with good basic skills of chopping and measuring of ingredients, dishwashing and kitchen cleanup. Approximately 20 hours per week. Salary negotiable.
