Teach Private Music Lessons: Create Long Lasting Connections $50/hr (Metro Atlanta Area)

Instruct elementary and middle school students in debate and/or speech at locations/schools in the larger Bellevue Redmond Seattle area. We provide instruction PowerPoints used mainly for the first two classes. After that, students engage in activities and mostly practice debates/speeches where you give feedback to them on how to improve. Experience in speech/debate is good but is NOT needed. We'll show you how speech/debate works and we have a number of current employees with no prior debate experience and they do great. We are looking for instructors that can teach in the Bellevue-Redmond-Seattle area especially in the afternoons and evenings (you'd work for 2 to 4 hours during the 230 to 830pm approximate time). You tell us when you are available, based on that availability, we tell you what days/times we want you to work and you confirm or reject those days/times. The Pay is $23 per hour PLUS there is a $15 bonus per day that you work (at least one hour). Averaged out for a typical 3 hour work session, that is $28 per hour. Plus we reimburse at IRS mileage rate your travel cost (up to a limit of $60 per day) or pay Uber costs up to $100. Our programs happen in Fall, Winter, Spring plus two 1 week sessions that are more 9am to 5pm in the Summer.

Family Advocate/Support Specialist Position Quality childcare center is seeking a Head Start Family Support Specialist for our program. We are open Monday-Friday 6am-6pm. The Family Support Specialist work will adhere to Head Start Program Standards and the principles of best practice. · Conduct ongoing recruitment to ensure full enrollment in all Head Start/Early Head Start slots. · Responsible for planning monthly parent events. · Family Support: Collection and distribution of health and nutrition information, works in partnership with families, conducts home visits, family events, children’s health screenings, and communication through emails & newsletters. · Provide family resources and referral support from community resources and/or the school district. · Work in classroom with children, as needed. · Earn at least 10 hours of STARS per year in development, and/or family support. · Perform other duties as assigned by Center Director and as pertinent to Family Support and classroom support responsibilities. In addition to the position responsibilities, have knowledge about licensing requirements and center expectations. Seeking a personal aide for my daughter who is 21 years old and high functioning with autism. May be a good fit for someone who has been a substitute teacher, classroom aide, or home health provider. The job is currently primarily being a companion and home health assistant while she recovers from a health issue. Must be comfortable providing some hygiene and personal bathroom assistance. During this time, the schedule is a little flexible, could be 3-4 days per week, and having one weekend evening regularly available will be a plus. Eventually, when she goes back to school, the focus of the position will shift to being primarily a school aide, including driving to/from San Jose to her college campus (tbd location), so must be comfortable with a commute, have reliable transportation (CA travel mileage reimbursement rate applies); be good at sitting in on classes and helping with tasks like taking notes and helping her set up any supplies or technology; plus outings and at-home/personal help.
