Responsibilities include: Schedule and tour clients at various apartment communities Conduct area market surveys Create and maintain corporate client base of various companies Manage and oversee the daily functions of the rental center which include callbacks/follow-ups, greet walk-ins, tours, vacancies Maintain strong relations with Resident Managers and Property Managers Submit weekly traffic flow reports Maintain daily community traffic logs Creating ads to advertise vacancies at various apartment communities Working with various clients, including international contacts, businesses, families, and students The ideal candidate will have the following Experience and Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of the San Mateo and Peninsula area Multi-tasking Proactive Property Management, Real Estate or Leasing experience Yardi software Successful closing ands rental experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with attention to detail Computer proficiency Eagerness to learn Flexibility Social Networking Fair Housing guidelines We offer a competitive salary, 3 weeks PTO, employer paid medical and dental insurance, 401K, FSA, annual merit increases, bonuses. The more experience with real estate and property management bookkeeping, accounting, and even tax preparation the better! We use Appfolio property management software and Quickbooks, so best if you're highly skilled on those. Must have experience with Quickbooks DESKTOP version (not Quickbooks Online). Minimum 3 years experience preferred. Bank Account and Credit Card reconciliations. Process tenant applications. Set up new tenant leases, utilities, renewal leases, rent increase notifications. Utilities management. Current bookkeeping needs to be maintained current, plus some prior years' records that were recently found need to be data entered and amended on tax returns to capture refunds and loss carry forwards. Accounts receivable (tenant s rents) and payables. Payroll. Managing rentals, maintaining good records, managing service calls with our technicians, evictions, etc. Knowledge and experience of real estate transactions. Escrow/title experience also a plus!
