Pay: $25–$35 per hour Hours: 10–15 hours per week (2–3 hours per site visit) Location: Projects across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Residential Remodeling & Additions Company DMV Home Addition Contractor About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Inspector / Quality Control Specialist for our residential remodeling and home addition projects in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone with hands-on construction knowledge and an eye for quality and somoen who know all electric, plumbing and building codes. Key Responsibilities: Inspect ongoing residential construction projects (additions, remodels, decks, bathrooms, etc.) Ensure all work meets local building codes and project specifications Identify quality issues or violations in framing, electrical, plumbing, finishes, and more Conduct pre-final inspections and walkthroughs with checklists Help ensure subcontractors follow scope of work and company standards Requirements: 10+ years of experience in home inspections or residential construction supervision Strong understanding of DC, MD, and VA building codes Knowledge in multiple trades: framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc. Ability to assess craftsmanship and overall build quality Reliable transportation to job sites in DC, MD, and VA Excellent communication, documentation, and observation skills Work Schedule: Flexible hours: 2–3 site visits per week (each visit approx. 2–3 hours) Total: 10–15 hours per week Ideal for retired inspectors, part-time contractors, or construction professionals Compensation: $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience Paid weekly or bi-weekly For more info, please text us at 202 930 3007
