Acumen Fiscal Agent is seeking a Vendor Relationship Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our vendors, ensuring that our collaborations run smoothly and effectively. You will serve as the main point of contact for vendor inquiries and concerns, negotiate contract terms, and monitor vendor performance to establish and maintain effective partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of vendor management processes, and a customer-oriented mindset. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by ensuring that we have reliable and responsive vendors to support our services, all while further developing your expertise in vendor management. Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for vendors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with new and existing vendors. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to service agreements. Assist in the development of vendor management policies and procedures. Collect and analyze vendor performance data to identify areas for improvement. Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and collaboration. Assist in resolving disputes and issues that may arise with vendors. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in vendor management or procurement, ideally within a service-oriented industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with vendor management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
