Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S. We are currently looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for processing customer invoices and other accounts receivable transactions, as well as providing overall support to the accounting team as needed. Schedule: Mon-Fri, Full-time. This is an onsite position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare accurate and timely customer invoices Review price sheets Mail/E-mail customer invoices Prepare deposit using remote deposit and scan incoming checks Reconcile FedEx charges and prepare for billing Retrieve, stamp and disseminate mail to Accounting, HR, and payroll teams Assist other accounting team members as needed Support reception desk as needed Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Accounts Payable experience is a plus. Effectively communicate, both written and verbally, to all levels of management and coworkers. PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel Knowledge of Accounting Software such as NetSuite, a plus. Strong organizational skills and able to effectively prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines. Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with the ability to coordinate and work with other departments in the organization. Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally required to stand, walk, or climb; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The Verification Specialist plays a critical role within the Accounting Department, ensuring the accuracy of billing and payment processes for both vendors and customers. This position focuses on verifying job data, processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting compliance with customer requirements.
