Join our team at The Common Market as a Delivery Driver for our 26' box truck. As a mission-driven entity focused on connecting local farmers with communities, you will play a crucial role in delivering fresh, high-quality food products to our valued customers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work locally and be home each night while positively impacting the local food system. In this role, you'll be responsible for safe driving, efficient loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring top-notch customer service during deliveries. Salary: $22.50/hour, with the potential for a $4,000 Annual Safe Driving Bonus. Main Responsibilities: - Safely operate a 26' box truck for product deliveries. - Load and unload products according to company standards. - Maintain accurate delivery records and logs. - Communicate proactively with the logistics team to address any delivery issues. - Follow food safety protocols during transportation. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a box truck or larger. Valid CDL B driver's license preferred, but not required. Proven track record of safe driving and reliability. Experience in food delivery or knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 55 lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with delivery. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Willing to work varied hours, including early mornings and Saturdays.
