Requirements Marine Chiller Technician: This is where you come in.  We're looking for a skilled Marine Chiller Technician to join our team! In this traveling role, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems aboard marine vessels. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in dynamic environments around the world — ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and life on the move. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:  1. Maintenance Excellence Perform routine maintenance on marine chillers and refrigeration systems to ensure peak performance. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to proactively identify and address issues. Maintain detailed service records, ensuring traceability and accountability for all maintenance tasks. 2. Expert Repair & Troubleshooting Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts on HVAC systems aboard marine vessels, with a focus on chiller and refrigeration components. Replace or repair faulty parts, restoring systems to full operational capacity. Provide timely and reliable emergency repair services when needed. 3. Outstanding Customer Service Engage with clients to clearly understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions. Educate clients on best practices for operating and maintaining their systems. Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-first mindset at all times. 4. Accurate Documentation Create and submit detailed, organized reports on all maintenance and repair activities. Track and log parts usage and time spent per project for efficient resource management. Ensure all documentation is completed promptly and accurately, supporting transparency and compliance. 5. Technical Leadership & Collaboration Mentor peers and junior technicians in advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques, particularly on marine air conditioning chillers and refrigeration systems. Plan, schedule, and oversee technical work, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and safely. The Marine Chiller Technician reports directly to Cory Evans, Marine Chiller Superintendent, and collaborates closely with a dynamic team on a variety of impactful projects that support our expanding business. This high-visibility role engages with stakeholders across all levels and departments of the organization. Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?  You should have…  High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in chiller and refrigeration system maintenance and repair. Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues. Strong communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. EPA Section 608 certification (required). Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Who you are: A Field Service Technician I is responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining Semios devices on customer sites in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and device data is accurately captured.
