The position enforces campus rules and regulations, addresses and refers student conduct concerns, and collaborates with local law emergency response agencies when appropriate. This role may also conduct preliminary investigations on incidents resulting from college policy violations and non-criminal incidents. As an essential staff member, Security Guard 1 may be required to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.
