There is also a decent sized built-in closet. Best for someone with a full or twin bed to maximize the space. Desk & shelves available for use if needed. The Apartment: Decent-sized kitchen, dining & living areas aside from the two bedrooms, which are on opposite sides of the apartment for ideal privacy. Cute renovated bathroom with full bath. I have been living in this apartment for over 4 years & have tried to make it homey & comfortable. It is fully furnished & equipped so best for someone with minimal furniture aside from the bedroom, but open to discussion. The Resident: I’m a woman in my mid-30s. I work from home full-time (my company has no office in NYC), so you would need to be comfortable with me working in the dining area daily & ideally have at least a hybrid schedule for ease of use in the common areas, but open to discussion. I work for a DEI consulting firm & am an unapologetic lefty. Huge into music & the arts. The Vibe: I am happy to be friendly & sociable but also happy to do our own thing. I am out of the apartment many nights for social/cultural engagements. I have friends/guests over very occasionally for a quiet hang but always happy to give a heads-up. Otherwise, not a big partier at home, though I may host dinner party type things a couple times a year including my birthday. Try to keep things relatively neat & tidy. The Neighborhood: Amazing neighborhood with all manner of great restaurants, bars, shops at your fingertips, as well as some spaces with cultural programming as well. Less than 10 minute walk to gorgeous Greenwood Cemetery & 15 minutes to Prospect Park. Close to 2 branches of the YMCA. The Essentials: About a 10 minute walk to the R train & 15 min to the F/G. A 3-4 minute walk to various buses along 5th & 7th Avenue which I use quite a bit. I know many folks on the block & it's a very safe & friendly community. Nearest laundromat is a few blocks away, but there's also a nearby fancier one that does delivery service which is great in a pinch. There’s a Key Food & an amazing local pharmacy 8 minutes’ walk away. The Financials: Looking for a long-term renter ideally. First month & security needed to move in.
