The room is on the second floor, has an adjacent bathroom and a dedicated covered porch, and includes appliances for the preparation of light meals. We are looking for a grounded, fully sober and conscientious person with a stable income to share part of a house... references and background check required. No smokers, drug use or animals, please. Included: Heat and utilities, high-speed Internet, fridge with freezer, and microwave as well as basic furniture, many bookshelves and two tables (see photos). This is a sunny private room with large storage closet, adjacent bathroom/shower and private entrance, in a single-family house on an acre of land in Plainfield village. The house and land are only a few blocks from the bookstore, Positive Pie, Cutler Library and the Plainfield recreation field, and a 15-minute drive to Montpelier. There are gardens and a flock of chickens on the land. Available as a room rental with no kitchen (but includes in-room preparation of light meals) and access to a shared laundry. Some of the rental cost may be offset by helping with chores, which is encouraged. No animals permitted. (Two cats live in a gated-off area on the ground floor.)
