Eagels mere is an upscale lakefront community with a long history of being a destination. We own a four bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath home at the very edge of town. This means you can walk five miles in one direction and not see any sign of human habitation--but walk a half mile in the other direction and be in the center of town. Even in the high season there are not more than 2500 people living here-but this makes it the second most populous town in the entire county. It is also in the mountains. Including utilities we only need $600 for one person and somewhat more for a larger group. Or if you are one person and want a lower than $600 rent you have to share your bathroom with someone who would be renting another bedroom near yours (other wise -- if you pay $600-we will leave that bedroom empty and let you use it as a guest room or for other purposes depending on what exactly we agree). But the point is that it could be possible for one person to live there for $400 per month including utilities qnd for larger groups to live there for somewhat more money
