Looking for a new roommate to sublet through June 2026 in a bright, spacious, and welcoming 2 bed / 1 bath home in Fremont! About the space: - $1333/month + utilities (split evenly) - Utilities average $50–100/month per person (seasonal variation) - Private, unfurnished bedroom (12' x 10') with roomy closet (7.5' x 2.5') - Spacious living room (fits 2 couches comfortably) - Full eat-in kitchen with ample counter space and natural light - Abundant windows with views of Mt. Rainier and Queen Anne - Raised deck with table, firepit, and grill – great for cozy evenings or entertaining - Onsite laundry (free, no coins needed) - Shared parking spot with roommate - Ample storage space, including a shed and closets throughout - Friendly, welcoming neighbors Location perks: We’re at Phinney Ave N & 40th St—less than a 5 min walk to the Fremont strip (Sunday Market, Nectar Lounge, Local Tide, Frelard Tamales, Secret Door), or a 10 min walk north to Lighthouse Roasters, Lupo, and Fremont Bowl! Steps from major bus routes for easy commuting. About your roommate: You’ll be sharing the home with Tani, a respectful, fun, and caring mid-30s professional who works from home. Tani is LGBTQ+, trans-, and ENM-friendly, and values a supportive, inclusive living environment. He has an adorable cat named Poe (this is a one-pet household so no additional pets, sorry!). Tani loves to cook, bake sourdough, dance, hike/camp, attend shows, and play soccer & board games. He is excited for new energy in the space and hopes to develop a friendship with his future roommate. The common spaces are largely furnished at present - but Tani would be excited to get rid of existing stuff to make space for your pieces! Timing & lease details: - Sublet begins late October / early November (with possible earlier option) - Must pass background and credit check with landlord - Lease runs through June 30, 2026 - Security deposit ($1500) and last month’s rent ($1333) due upfront to me upon lease signing (total $2833). Last month’s rent covers June 2026, and the security deposit is refunded by the landlord at lease end. Looking for: Someone who is a direct, respectful, and considerate communicator.
