Hello, we have one private bedroom (unfurnished) available for rent in a furnished single family home. 9 month lease minimum, a long term roommate is preferred. The house is located on a super quiet looped (horseshoe) street, super safe and mature neighborhood with no through traffic or noise. Located near Lawrence Expy and El Camino Real, where there are tons of great restaurants, parks, public transportation, trails and grocery options. Easy access to 101/237/280/ Central Expressway / San Thomas Expressway. You will hardly have to deal with traffic. Plenty of parking on long driveway and there’s always parking available on street (unrestricted), motorcycle or bicycle parking available inside garage too. Garage also has a second fridge and assigned storage spaces. We are close to Santa Clara University, De Anza, NVidia, Intel, Levi’s 49ers Stadium, PayPal Park, Mission College, Sun Microsystems, McAfee, the new Apple spaceship headquarters (and the 3rd), NASA, LinkedIN, Google, eBay and a bunch of other high tech companies. Quick drive on Central Expressway or San Thomas Expressway to downtown Mountain View, downtown Palo Alto, downtown Sunnyvale or downtown Campbell, etc. Short walk to CALTRAIN Lawrence Station, one minute walk to bus stop, short walk to Machado Park. Short walk to the new Monticello complex: Starbucks, Nobhill, Pizza Kitchen… We're easy to live with, just don't tear up the house and clean up after yourself. We're not looking so much for a "tenant", we're looking for another good roommate, and want to keep the fun and mellow house vibe. We're all between ~25-35, most of us work in tech related industry (shocking). I'm the homeowner... but we're all friendly and more importantly everyone is courteous and respectful. Occasional sleepovers are allowed, guests and friends over is allowed, cooking is allowed, we don't have any weird rules or restrictions, pretty much just have common courtesy and try to somewhat clean up after yourself in the common areas (basically be respectful). House common areas get cleaned weekly (indoors and outdoors) and landscaping done every 2 or 3 weeks. The house has ~2,500 sq. feet, with 3 bathrooms, and has a giant private backyard (we’re on a huge 10,000 sq ft lot, most homes have 5,000 sq ft of land, and apartments rarely have any private yard space). This is a drama free house, we're all working professionals. We maintain an environment and a house where we actually like coming home and being home. Best of all you have NO CHORES (no monthly meetings either)! Everything gets taken care of (except in your room). House gets cleaned, garbage gets taken out, dishwasher is loaded and run twice a week, toilet paper, napkins and paper towels are always stocked, soaps, dishwasher detergent is supplied etc. You simply can relax when at home and/or have fun, zero stress. Rooms have hardwood floors, new doors, trim, moldings, nice window views. Available room is ~140 sq ft, plus a closet. The house environment, amenities, and massive backyard sets us apart from typical apartments and other room shares / houses. Plus again we don't have weird restrictions or rules. Again, we just keep a relaxing, fun environment and use common courtesy. You would be allowed full use of the house (which is also fully furnished), including living room with a 70" LED HD flat screen Smart TV on wall, HD TV channels, Netflix, laser printer, dining area / table, entertainment style kitchen w/ island hood (cook as much as you want), breakfast nook, the kitchen is fully furnished with cooking tools, utensils, cups, plates, pots, pans, mugs, common ingredients / spices etc., Comcast wireless high speed internet ~1Gbps (3 Google wi-fi mesh routers and a 2nd network with 2 mesh routers for max coverage), huge backyard with hammock attached to trees, an outdoor gas grill, a bonfire pit, stools, outdoor treetop table, a charcoal grill, gas fire pit table... it's our private mini park. No pets, no smoking, no drugs, 1 person per room only. We like having fun, but it’s not a party house. Work from home is allowed from your bedroom, no permanent workstations / desks / monitors in common areas. Utilities are $140 per month flat rate for electricity, water, gas, high-speed internet, TV, bi-weekly house cleaning, garbage, recycling, landscaping, toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, soaps / detergents, propane for bbq grill, common area furniture use, Netflix, OnDemand movie rentals, and Movie Tuesday tickets at nearby movie theater. 9 month lease minimum, one month rent as security deposit required, can reserve room with first months rent.
