This position will assist with the day-to-day dispatching of local, regional, and over-the-road CDL drivers. The Dispatcher works closely with customers, drivers, and department peers to coordinate and ensure load commitments are being fulfilled, driver utilization is maintained, driver retention is a priority, and guarantee that company productivity goals are met. It is imperative that professional communication and follow-up is upheld daily, as it is crucial to the success of this role.   Basic Job Description: Create schedules, dispatch out CDL Class A drivers locally, regionally, and over the road drivers to appropriate locations with routing information, provide drivers with essential details to complete their route, etc. Create spreadsheets and reports as needed. Professional communication with drivers, vendors, customers, and management. Process driver assistance and operation team requests with timely follow through. Utilize TMW for the entry and dispatch load information. Utilize PeopleNet to track and monitor drivers. Maintain a positive team environment. We are seeking a Scientist to join our client’s Manufacturing Sciences & Technology team in Devens, MA. This role supports the Materials and Cryogenics Science group in the life cycle management of raw materials, consumables, and single-use systems used in biopharmaceutical commercial manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Procurement on cross-functional teams to ensure GMP compliance and continuity of supply. Key responsibilities include: Qualify alternative raw material suppliers and partner with Procurement to identify new options. Recommend and lead necessary testing to qualify materials for GMP manufacturing. Author technical equivalency assessments, specification comparisons, material characterization reports, and change controls. Support material and consumable manufacturing investigations. Manage supplier change notifications and evaluate risks to maintain GMP compliance. Contribute to risk assessments and material specification development. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. At Whiteline Express, you’ll keep our trucks and trailers running strong. You’ll handle diagnostics, maintenance, and full repairs on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding or fabrication work. You’ll remove, fix, reinstall, and adjust parts, inspect your work, and make sure everything meets safety rules and regulations. You’ll also lead the crew, assign tasks, check work, guide on tough repairs, and help train others. You’ll manage parts using TMT, handle after-hours repairs when needed, respond to service calls, and keep maintenance records up to date. You’ll open and close the shop and make sure everything runs smoothly and safely. We’re looking for someone with solid diesel mechanic experience (lead or supervisory experience is a plus), strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software (TMT a bonus). You need a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willing to get one) and the flexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours calls. What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic: Supervise shift mechanics by assigning tasks, verifying completed work, and assisting with training and disciplinary actions as needed. Authorize and oversee after-hours repairs in alignment with company policies and procedures. Manage parts inventory using TMT, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of parts and supplies. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and full-service repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, including work on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication tasks. Remove, repair, reinstall, and adjust vehicle components; conduct thorough final inspections to ensure all repairs meet federal and state safety regulations. Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Respond to on-site service calls and provide support as needed. Collaborate with technicians and provide guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting. Open and close the maintenance facility, ensuring readiness and security of operations. Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory or lead technician experience preferred. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software (experience with TMT a plus). Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
