THE JOB (What You'll Actually Do): Average 3,500-4,000 miles per week. Be early to pick up loads. Be early to delivery. Document everything in Samsara. Answer when dispatch calls. Don't hit things. That's it. That's the job. THE STANDARDS (Non-Negotiable): - 10+ hours drive time daily (we track this) - Answer Dispatch (we track this too) - Submit your paperwork (no exceptions) - Run the load, don't let the load run you. THE MONEY (Real Numbers from Real Drivers): - Odometer Miles. - Bonused monthly on Miles. - Bonused weekly on Drive Time. - Paid for inconveniences: detention, stops, etc. Bottom Line: Expect $2k+ paychecks weekly. The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review. • Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers’ yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education) and pass a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
