Description

  This position will reconcile subcontractor/vendor invoices that do not match budgeted purchase orders and will maintain monthly statements of outstanding invoices with subcontractors/vendors. This individual will work closely with Purchasing Agents, Project Managers, Accounts Payable personnel, Estimators, Subcontractors/Vendors, and other departments as needed. This individual will also participate in department-wide projects and provide general support as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review, analyze, reconcile, and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices. Coordinate these activities as appropriate with various departments.  Correspond with subcontractors/vendors and review monthly statements to ensure accurate account status. Ensure vendors provide invoice information, account status, or documentation in a timely manner.  Periodically assist Accounts Payable for approving invoices. Assist construction personnel in complying with Purchasing Department procedures. Perform miscellaneous Purchasing Department activities such as analyzing, pricing, and researching various projects as well as miscellaneous backup functions (i.e., bid input, phone backup, etc.). From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints. Other duties may be assigned. Requires at least 2 years of relevant administrative experience. ·         10-key by touch (speed and accuracy).
