Production Operator – 2nd Shift - Starting at $25.00/hr. (8hr. Shifts - Mon. - Fri.) Multiple Shift Opportunities! In Sheboygan Falls we heavily support medical, food, and graphic arts customers with thin gauge plastic sheeting for thermoforming and printing applications. You’ve most likely seen a product that was made from materials from our plant—iTunes cards, Home Depot signs, even the covers of comic books. We are currently looking for associates to join our production teams to support our variety of customers. Job Summary This position is a machine operator-level position within the manufacturing area that ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost to meet customer specifications and delivery requirements. Machine operator positions include the extrusion production line and/or material handling. The ideal candidate will ensure the finished package meets the highest level of quality and our customer expectations. We are willing to train all applicants on all tasks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accomplish the duties of the job utilizing safe work habits and maintaining a safe workplace Required to assist operator during change over’s Completion of paperwork and duties in a timely, organized, and accurate manner Must be able to read and understand shop orders Communicate with operator and shift lead Perform and maintain clean lines in the manufacturing area and equipment Operate forklifts as required Receive any additional direction from operator/shift lead Competency in plant operator positions. Supports the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company A focus on keeping a clean, safe work environment Willingness to work 12-hour shifts preferred May be required to perform duties not specifically listed above, the listed duties are subject to be changed at any time, as deemed necessary to support the business. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have basic skills on use of computers: MS Office, Windows, SAP experience is a plus. Ability to effectively work in a team environment with good communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization skills and self-starter motivation Ability to train and support others on the team to build a proficient team across all shifts. Pre-employment drug screening required.
