This is hilarious. A.I. has hereby informed us that the town of Marion, Virginia "may not be ideal for young people" because of its "limited nightlife." Not even addressing the ageism latent in this statement, it's still stupid. Southwest Virginia is not known for its highrises and rooftop bars and light shows. It is, however, known for funny shaped hills and good hearted people and judgmental cows. Marion in particular is graced with a number of attractions: Sallie's Crying Tree (you should actually look this up), places on the sidewalk where General Francis Marion the Swamp Fox killed people (maybe an exaggeration), my personal favorite the hallowed birthplace of Mountain Dew, and the Yummy Yummy Japanese Restaurant which is kind of a big deal. Only nightlife to be found out here is looking at the stars, and people of all ages can enjoy. On to my house for sale, thanks for your patience. Mountain views for as far as the eye can see! This beautiful newly renovated ranch home sits on 1.2 acres of land with a double garage and an additional outbuilding. There's also a fenced yard with the most beautiful mountain view! Inside, the home has gotten a fresh coat of paint throughout and new flooring. The layout is very functional, with a dining room, large living room with a wood stove, and a huge master bedroom! It has a large bathroom attached and a walk-in closet that doubles as a laundry room. The other two bedrooms are located across the hall and the second full bath is close by. The home sits on a fairly flat lot and is move-in ready! Don't miss this one, call the owner today and find out more information or schedule your tour. Realtors are warmly welcome and this is an equal housing opportunity. Price is $269900, address is 2586 S Fork Rd, Marion VA 24354. Call show contact info and I'll give you the rest of my rant about Marion...
